LondonOntario London, the city of forests, is a beautiful city nestled by the Thames River. The city has the good fortune of being located in one of the richest agricultural belts of Canada. Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe had selected the Forks of Thames as the site for the new capital in the year 1793, but his suggestion had been rejected but later Colonel Thomas Talbot built the city’s first few government buildings in the year 1826.The city withstood natural disasters like tornados and flood to emerge as a serene and fast developing city.
