wedding is always an extremely special time for the people involved
in it. A wedding is the beginning of a new life, of new experiences.
For the majority of people, a wedding is a once in a lifetime event.
Apart from being a union of two people who love each other and want
to spend the rest of their lives with each other, a lot of other
seemingly trifle, but important details also go into the making
of a successful wedding.
The scale of a wedding may vary; some people want a lavish one,
where all and sundry are invited; some others want a wedding on
a comparatively lower scale, with family, friends and acquaintances;
and yet others want an extremely private affair, with only close
friends and family in attendance. Whatever the scale of the wedding
rentals may be, whether it be the prince’s high-profile betrothal,
or the pauper’s modest marriage, all weddings require a few basic
things to take off, apart from the bride and groom of course!!!
You may have invited a couple of people, some hundreds, or hundreds
of thousands; all guests need to be looked after and you need to
be called an extremely competent host and couple. Food, chairs,
tables and similar bare necessities are some of the immediate things
that come to one’s mind when planning a wedding, unless of course
you’re planning to elope and get married with just the both of you
in attendance in a church, with a man of God solemnly reading out
your vows and legalizing your union. Or, as is more wont closer
home in India, a priest reading out the mantras in a temple and
you meekly obeying his instructions. Truth be told, this scenario
is more prevalent in Indian movies, than in real India!
To
come back to the topic in discussion, even the most simplest of
weddings entail some amount of forehand planning. Most necessitate
meticulous attention to innumerable details! In this day and age,
buying all the furniture and other paraphernalia required for and
at a wedding may form quite a huge dent in your pocket. The easier
and more money-friendly solution is to rent all the things that
you need, at least all that can be rented! For instance, you absolutely
cannot rent your bride or groom for a day now, can you!!!
The
advantage with getting things on rent is that you needn’t worry
about what to do with all the stuff after the wedding is over, apart
from being so much more easier on your pay packets! Even the customary
wedding gowns or dresses are available on hire. As most of you may
be aware, wedding gowns are almost always hideously expensive and
impossible to buy for many people! However, a wedding being the
important day that it is, a bride will naturally want to be looking
her very best and to be dressed in her finest! Unfortunately, the
gown on display at Bloomingdale’s may be more than you can think
of spending.
This
is where wedding rentals enter,
loudly blowing their trumpets for all the world to hear! You can
easily rent a gown for a day and not pay an arm and a leg for it
too! As countless young brides will tell you, there is a flip side
to this too. Nothing comes easy, sweethearts! Wearing a rented gown
means you can’t keep it with you forever. Sure, wedding gowns are
never worn again in your lifetime, unless of course your daughter
decides to be wed in your gown, but most, if not all girls would
like to keep their wedding dresses till eternity, or till death
do them and their husbands part, whichever comes first! Also, this
is no laughing matter that can be brushed aside with a slight gesture
of the hand. Nevertheless, I guess you win some, you lose some.
Life is all about making decisions, whether they be correct or they
be wrong!

planners – Planning
weddings and other events is a burgeoning industry in this time
and age, and trends suggest that it will continue to grow from strength
to strength. Wedding planners are people who lift the entire burden
off your shoulders and weigh it on themselves, almost akin to Atlas
who bears the entire weight of the world on his shoulders! Planning
a wedding is no smaller load! On a more serious note, wedding planners
cover the entire gamut of things that need to be taken care of in
a wedding, from the location to the decorations, from the bride’s
make up to the details of her dress, from the food to the furniture,
from the band that needs to perform at the wedding to the distribution
of the invites themselves, name it, and they’ll get it done! Makes
you feel much like Aladdin, who with a gentle rub of his lamp could
make his genie do wonders! Many people opt for professional wedding
planners than even rentals, as it saves them the time and the dilemma
of picking out the things they want to rent. Often, wedding planners
work with just the date and time of the auspicious event, the rest
they apparently seem to build out of thin air to us novices, laymen
and laywomen!
Coming
back to wedding rentals, lest you think that you can rent only the
more obvious equipment like chairs and tables, you’ll be surprised
to know that you can rent out even seemingly trivial and routine,
mundane things like accessories, decorations, jewelry, and the like!
It seems almost as though there is nothing under the sun that you
can’t rent! Uh-oh, there you go again! I did mention to you naughty
minds that anything under the sun does not include your spouse,
didn’t I!
When
you walk down the aisle, dressed in your finest and extreme best,
And
the whole world looks upon you, God up above, and down under, the
earthly rest,
You’re
glad you left the job to rentals and not put yourself to the test!
In
turn, making your marriage turn into a veritable and joyful fest!!!
