Blue Ginger:- The restaurant is located in Wellesley,
Massachusetts at 583 Washington Street, west of Wellesly Centre.
Ming and Polly Tsai opened the restaurant in February 1998. It features an open kitchen with a 40-feet blue pearl granite counter, subtle recessed lighting, warm cherry woodwork and Italian granite floors. The interiors were done as per feng-shui rules. A soothing water sculpture greets the guests. The open kitchen creates the perfect stage for the chefs to create Mings signature East-West dishes. The restaurant has been able to impress diners from Boston and beyond with its innovative cuisine. In its first year the restaurant received 3 stars from the Boston Globe and was also named as the Best New Restaurant by Boston Magazine. The popularity of Blue Ginger continues till date.
Lespalier:- It is located in the heart of fashionable
Back Bay, in an 1880 townhouse on the corner of Newbury and Gloucester
Street, one block from the Hynes Convention Center, Prudential
Center and Copley Place at 30 Gloucester Street, Boston. MA 02115.
The dining room has a color scheme of taupe and cream. With its
carved marble fireplace, luxurious plasterwork, and views overlooking
Gloucester Street, it has a feeling of classic elegance. A mirrored
mantle and simple black and white photography accent this light-filled
room. The Library, on LEspaliers third floor offers a pleasant
alternative to the subdued color schemes of the Front Room and Salon.
With salmon colored walls, mahogany woodwork, and another beautifully
sculpted mantle, the Library exudes warmth. Tables overlook Gloucester
Street and the surrounding rooftops.
LEspalier is often credited with being the first independently owned restaurant to bring haute cuisine to Boston. Located on Boylston Street when it opened in 1978, LEspalier moved to its current location, a historic Back Bay townhouse in 1982. After purchasing the restaurant in 1988, McClelland worked with famed interior designer, Celeste Cooper, to carry out his vision for the dining rooms. The renovation brought together the original ornate architectural details of the historic building and combined them with classic modern, clean lines. The space was transformed into a stylized yet uncomplicated environment that reflects McClellands cuisine of classic technique and innovative approach. The restaurant has a dress code of tie and jacket though it is not compulsory. It has seating capacity of more than 70 people and the restaurant is also available for private events.
Under Frank McClelland stewardship, LEspalier has consistently been rated
one of the top restaurants in Boston's Zagat Survey. The restaurant
has received numerous accolades including the "Distinguished Restaurant
Award" from Mimi Sheraton, as well as being the first New England
restaurant to receive four stars from The Boston Globe food critic,
Alison Arnett. In 1996, Nations Restaurant News bestowed LEspalier
with its highest honor, inducting the restaurant into its Fine
Dining Hall of Fame. And for the last six years L'Espalier has
remained the only independent restaurant in New England to receive
Five Diamonds from AAA.
Red Sky:- Red Sky is a chic and stylish restaurant
and lounge, conveniently located in downtown Boston adjacent to
exciting, historic Faneuil Hall. Red Sky is available for private
functions, business gatherings, parties, and catering. With an upscale
yet stress-free environment, the main aim of the restaurant is ti
draw in all walks of life. The intimate ambiance is complemented
